The Anvaya Association intends to organize an annual summer camp in Cambodia for the young generation of Cambodian diaspora, who know very little about their country of origin but wants to learn. The objective of this three-week journey is to give them a comprehensive view of today’s Cambodia, by participating in activities such as: alternating visits, meetings and conferences, and traveling the country to see its geographical and cultural diversity.

The number of participants is limited to 20 people. Our priority targets are students and young professionals of Cambodian origins. Diaspora communities likely to be involved are in the U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands and others.

The summer camp will take place between July and August and will last three weeks. There is an option for participants to arrive before the camp starts and leave after the summer camp over. During their stay, participants will have daily Khmer language classes (i.e. learning the alphabet, reading and conversation), from 8 am to 10 am (except on weekends).

The following is a sample program. Please note, as this is a new program, it does not represent all the activities participants may be participate in.
